Artist's Comments

Yes, this is a road. It was washed out a while ago, during a big storm (i believe it was during that big windstorm we had back in Dec 06). needless to say, the salmon now cross that road. Behind the sandbard there is a raging river over buckled pavement, but couldnt get the shot I wanted. Come next summer, I'll hike this road and fully document the damage (assuming it won't be fixed yet).

I like it

Its like you have all these really solid hard perspective lines in a picture from the road and then half of it is erroded and broken by the abstract shapes of the waterfall

cool

's an awesome shot, but the whites are a bit overexposed and the left side is really dark...

Cool. I don't know what to say.
Other than that I hope there's a detour.

I really like this shot but there just seems to be something missing... not quite sure what though. Try playing with the channel mixer in monochrome. I think you can get some good stuff out of it =D

I think its a great shot documenting whats happened there. I like the balance of white and black. Very cool.

I really like this picture. It has an Ansel Adams feel to it with the contrast of black and white. You did a very good job composition wise. ^_^
